Solomon Water would like to inform our valued customers that the shutdown of our logging affected Kongulai water supply last week and followed by a major power outage yesterday has affected our production level causing low water supply and no water to many of our customers in Honiara.
Solomon Water wishes to inform our valued CashWater customers that our cashier outlets will continue to provide service, however, with the current rapidly changing situation we strongly advise customers to make sure that you have at least 1 week’s top-up credit on your water meter at all times to avoid any inconvenience in times of emergency or Government ordered shutdown. We will be open by phone on our usual customer care 23985 for limited hours (9:000am to 3:00pm) in the event of a shutdown.
Solomon Water would like to inform our valued customers that the recent heavy rainfall in Honiara has impacted our supply causing many Honiara residents to be without water again. The shutdown of Kongulai is due to the high turbidity (silt and dirt particles in the water) experienced upstream due to heavy rains at our Kongulai water source.
Solomon Water would like to inform our customers in Honiara, Auki, Tulagi and Noro that as part of our Business Continuity Planning we will continue to provide safe clean water and other related services to our valued customers. As an essential service provider, our critical functions will continue during this uncertain period of time.
